Positive, negative and no thoughts at all

we already know the secret - our thoughts are very powerful, they create our mental state and they manifest in our lifes. So we should be careful and aware in which direction are they going. Our mind creates the thoughts and the interesting thing about the mind is that unlike a machine it is difficult to switch it off. So sometimes we get lost in thoughts, or is it just by me? :)

Therefore I started monitoring the thought stream, which my mind produces and I will share here the analysis till now. I would define three modes: mode of negative thoughts (mode 1), mode of positive thoughts (mode 2) and mode of no thoughts at all (mode 3).

I prefer to skip the first mode, which is actually the worst one. It’s like a devil’s circle. One thought of worries creates the next one and next one and so on leading to anxious and depression state. Right after finding out that we are in this negative going thought stream we should cancel it.

The second mode is the mode of the positive thoughts. We hear everywhere nowadays about the power of positive visualization, this is actually the second mode. Visualization of positive thoughts and feeling positive emotions, which raise our mental state.

The third mode is the mode of meditation, relaxation and the vu-do state. Calm your mind and stop any thought stream. Just let it go and let it happened.

Anyway I am not so quite sure yet, which of the last two modes is more powerful. On one side the visualization is good, on the other side it somehow prevent you from being in the moment, which is also very important. I would try to mix mode 2 and mode 3 in some way and see where is that going.

Why Vu-Do?

The concept Vu-Do comes from the two parts Vu and Do:

Vu ia an important concept in the Daoism. From chinese Wei Wu(Vu) Wei means "Do without doing". The Vu-Do state involves in a word play the both.

This is the state of feeling relaxed, happy and that everything is possible. One of the goals of this website is to bring you in that state.
